NOTICE: Our friends in Public Works continue to work hard. The work zone for the Duck Creek Sewer Interceptor project is expanding. The Duck Creek Recreational Trail between Pine and Hickory Grove Rd has officially re-opened! Unfortunately, this also means next steps in the Duck Creek Interceptor project will close the section of trail between Hickory Grove Rd and Fairmount where deep (30 FT) sewer line work began on January 6. Once this section is complete this spring, no additional long-term trail closures are expected during the 2025 construction season and will be over halfway through the installation of this significant sewer extension spanning over five miles.? 3/27/25 10:53 am

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Our friends at Davenport Public Works are working hard toward flood resiliency in Davenport! Part of this effort means closing a sections of the Riverfront Recreation Trail. This closure affects cyclists and pedestrians.
At this time, we cannot estimate when the riverfront bike path section will fully re-open due to railroad coordination. We will keep the community posted as more information becomes available. Current estimate is for a temporary rock path to be installed by early April. Installation of permanent paving and related work in the rail right-of-way is pending ongoing rail approval and permitting. 3/27/25 10:50 am
